CH Combat Stick not working
« on: August 18, 2009, 07:29:46 PM »
My throttle wheel and stick are suddenly not working. I'm using a CH Combat Stick that has been flawless so far.

When I try to take off the plane starts at full throttle and doesn't allow me to adjust it. Also I can't pitch or roll and just fly into the ground.

I've tried to recalibrate it and looked at preferences. When I move the stick and throttle wheel I can see the numbers move so I believe that the stick is working. I also went to the hardware device manager on my PC and it tested fine.
My operating system is Vista.

Does anyone have a clue? It worked fine an hour ago.........

Go into the Advanced controller section in AH and make sure that you have the axis properly configured.  What I mean by that is, make sure that you have pitch (elevator), roll (aileron) and throttle assigned to the proper axis on your stick.
