It sure is, didn't pay attention. Saw the tower to the right and didn't look any closer. The old Como Inn used to be right about there on Grand. Keep going and there's Jim's just past Roosevelt.

The problem is geography. "Going to Chicago" can mean anything from Streeterville to Naperville. It's hard to suggest something when just crossing town can take a coupla few hours.

My wife and I argue about this all the time.  She is from Atlanta and I have lived here all my life.  She will say "let's go into the city,"  and I look at her funny cause we live in the Albany park neighborhood right next to the Kedzie stop on the brown line (already in the city.)  She thinks the city is Lakeview down to the South Loop.

I used to work at the firehouse at Illinois and Dearborn and tourist would come in all the time.  Their #1 question was where to eat or where to get Chicago style pizza? we would always send them to Uno's because it was 3 blocks away and was easy to explain how to find.

He's a lover, not a fighter... but he's also a fighter, so don't get any ideas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRaTekm9Ak8  http://one_foggy.tripod.com/sounds/afu_jokeson.wav
