Spit V has not got a drop tank option in hangar setup, dont know if historically it did? But it might restrict it for arena play as all other A/C have.

The Spitfire Mk V certainly did have drop tank ability. The common size was a 90 Gallon "blister", aka "slipper" tank.

This type of tank was a flush-fitting drop tank that was rectangular, with a half-teardrop shaped profile(like a fat, inverted airfoil ). Not at all shaped like the German cylindrical/teardrop shaped tank the Spit 9 in AH currently uses...

It's not the only plane that can't carry them in AH. LA-5 is incapable of it too.

Russian planes did not use drop tanks. However, a more apt observer would note that the Macchi .205 had the use of them, if not for the combat planes at least for the recon ones (MG only plane could have them as an option?)
