update the pt boat or add a new gun boat

id like to see an update to the pt boat. its too east to kill and the guns should either be manned by more thasn 1 guy or the 50 cals be automated

I don't go near PT boats unless I've got something with a lot of big guns. The volume of fire is absolutely MURDEROUS.

It doesnt need an update.  Once you get good with the PT boat and its AAA capabilities, its better than anything except full size warships in bringing down aircraft.  It can also tear up a ship with its torpedoes and cannon.  Learn to man the guns and drive it at the same time, and you wont have a problem.  Oh... and dont forget the rockets!

Oh... and anything on the ground (or sea) is vulnerable to attack from above... just the way it is.  Just dont be out there all alone in your PT boat.  Have supporting air.  Use it to escort LVT's.  Attack with other PT's.  Anything by itself is a sitting duck.

Oh well yeah!... I love popping them in my 25H.  But you cant use that as a reason for it needing an upgrade!

As stated in many older wishlist threads, JUST GIVE US SPAWNABLE DESTROYERS, and be done with it!!!
It will add a huge new aspect to the game, and be useful in MANY different ways...

I'm not a big user of the PT, but last time I checked it has an armament to engage aircraft, ships, and GVs effectively. IMO, it is very capable already, besides its thin armor, but the they were made out of ply-wood if I recall.

Certainly nothing in a PT construction would stop a .50 mg bullet from going through. Much less a 20mm with exploding ammo. Plus you have to remember those things ran on AV gas, one leak and one spark and its all over.

IMO *only* with friendly as well as enemy collisions "on" and grounding too.
Other than dive bombing "heavies" there'd be almost nothing more silly and
gamey than a squadron of destroyers all "sailing" into and thru each other
off of some land base as they shell it.

But spawnable destroyers would be a very nice addition!

I agree. Valdas, have you tried using the "fire all" button on your keyboard? It is "n" by default. I haven't used the PT boat since my old account got cancled, so it MIGHT not work, but I expect it does.
