I think that a 5ms is slow for gaming.

uhhh...5ms is average...some of the best monitors out there run between 5 to 8 ms response time.

Except that it's a crap shoot as to what the actual response time is these days...  8 could be 8 or 40.

best buy has a 23 for 180.  also did you guys know that bestbuy will price match to major onine sites too, for the same exact product  but you have to ask a manager.  but that's only inside the store.

The Dell 2405fpw (24" lcd) that I bought in early 2005 is listed at 12ms typical (gray to gray) or 16ms typical (black to white), and for the record, it's absolutely just fine for Aces High.  If a monitor really had an honest 5ms response time I wouldn't worry about it for gameplaying in the least.

I'd buy it if it didn't have speakers. I feel I'm paying for the speakers and not the pixels.
