Disney and Marvel have reached a $4 billion agreement for the purchase of the publisher.

Expect Iron Man 2 to be reworked into a fully-CGI musical comedy.

Marvel has been a bunch of corporate sellouts for at least 20 years.  Ask artists like Todd McFarlane, who bailed on both Marvel and DC in the early 90's.

Look at Pixar.  I highly doubt that Disney will interfere with Marvel's content.  They just wanted to acquire Marvel to fill in a demographic gap, i.e. young males.

That said, do I have a problem with media consolidation?  You bet.
