AH Wont Start

I just reformatted my computer and now when I click on the icon to launch the game it doesn't start up. If you need any info about my computer let me know what to post.

do you have the sound drivers and video drivers all installed? I'm assuming that with the reformat that you have a fresh install of the game, you didn't just copy the files over from another drive right? The settings and skins folder you can copy over, but the other need to be installed.

I didn't back anything up from the game, fresh install and the newest Nvidia drivers. When i click the icon a small white box comes up like the game is going to start up, but then a couple seconds later it goes away and nothing happens.

Firewall open to AcesHigh.exe and you didn't install it to C:\Program Files did you?

im using the C:\hitech creations folder that it sets it too.

I had this same problem. Have you let your computer get all of its updates? Mine found a video driver update and now it is working perfectly

yea i got it working now. I installed the 87 windows updates and got a newer sound driver. Hopefully the trouble of getting everything working is worth the speed boost and extra memory lol.
