Let's see the F4Fs get a face-lift. And while we're at it, how about getting a true F4F-3? There were more differences than just the number of guns. The -3 was 1000lbs lighter at combat loads, had longer range, was faster and climbed better.

She was the model used at Coral Sea, and most of the Marine squadrons at Guadalcanal were equipped with the -3 (the addition of folding wings in the -4 led them to supplant the -3 on the carriers, although most of the Navy pilots preferred the -3s).
