uuummm good
« on: September 02, 2009, 11:48:04 PM »
The missus and our 2 girls went out on a ladies night shopping and dinner trip, I was contemplating a sammich while I was looking at the news page on the intardnet and saw the following recipe on a link.
Luckily we had the leftover chicken from dinner last night and all the other ingredients in the freezer and cupboards...  uuummm good - Chicken Pot Pie --
I highly recommend the recipe - quick easy and good.

can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup- had in cupboard
1 pkg. (about 9 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables , thawed - had in the freezer - why she buys it I'm not sure - the kids won't eat it - lol 1 cup cubed cooked cooked chicken or 1 cup turkey - had chicken leftovers from last night
1/2 cup milk - had
1 egg - had
1 cup all-purpose baking mix - used Bisquick

PREHEAT oven to 400°F.

MIX soup, vegetables and chicken in 9" pie plate.

MIX milk, egg and baking mix. Pour over chicken mixture. Bake 30 min. or until golden.

haha great. Isn't it good when a plan all comes together.

My wife and youngest daughter are like best friends. My wife is having a hard time right now as our daughter is off at A&M University.
It's great your girls hang out with their Mom like that.
