Least Dweeby plane

IMO its the yak 9t 37mm is hard to get the hang of although most my kills this tour are in it.

If you do the stick time..... the 38 will turn fight well.

Yeh, I've been flying it on and off for a while, when I really feel like lowering my K/D back to a point where no one takes me seriously! 

Started flying it a lot more in the last week or so, and as long as I can delay doing something dumb I can usually score (on average) 2-3 kills, before doing something dumb and getting killed. Landed 4 in it a few nights ago on one sortie, which for a newb like me I think isn't bad.  Most time, though, folks turn me into aluminum confetti as I can't seem to make myself stay out of the turning furball (must....break...zeke.... habits....).

i ALWAYS do something dumb in my 38 o doom. i frakkin love the thing. half the fun, is in doing those stupid things.

Dont really think you can declare a "least dweeby plane."  However, I do harbor a degree of E-respect for those who fly unconventional and/or early/mid-war fighters in the LWMA.

Those that come to mind are the 38's, 190A's, 109's and underutilized varients of more popular airplanes such as the 51B, 47D-11/25, etc, etc.

I typically find that those aircraft give the best fights because they are typically driven by players who have been around a while and want a little bit more of a challenge.

If we think in terms of least dweeby "competitive main arena" plane, I'll go with the P51B.

Out of your top 3 planes only the 16 should be on there.

I don't see very many La-7s or nikkis out there.

I do agree I've seen less lala's but thats probably what time I'm on the game. IMO

I'd have to agree on the Yak 9T.  I also e-respect guys who go looking for dogfights in the earlier 109s like the F4, G2/6, P40b and so forth.

A plane I go into and out of phases in is the KI-61.  It's actually not that bad at all, really.  It's got two 20mm cannons in the nose and the machine-guns in the wings, which is bass ackwards but of course works great.  The KI-61 isn't a dweeb plane at all (unless you do nothing but HO in it), but works very well in capable hands.
