The m36 was a tank destroyer which mounted a 90mm m3 gun.
about 1,300 of them were produced/converted.
The need for tank destryers was so great at the time they field modded the 90mm onto the standard m4 sherman.
This varient of the sherman served along side the m36's in combat.
