Something cool that we could do would be the dam busting bomb that skips across the water.

I know it's not what it was designed for but this is the perfect bomb for killing a CV.

And AGAIN I do not want to add perks to any plane/ord/GV/anything else that we already have for free.

I reckon it would make people less likely to take risks, i.e. fly more timidly than now.  I think the alternative of perking rare loadouts (i.e. 1000#ers on P-51s, or Tiny Tims, or the Tse-tse mossie or cookie loadout, etc) is probably better.

How the hell are 1000lb bombs on a P-51 'rare'? Whenever I fly it (except when escortimg) I take the 1000lbs and rockets, you can always drop them if you need speed or manuverability. And in the name of realism, don't perk normal ord. If a pilot in WWII droped bombs to fight, then his CO was happy as a couple of bombs costs less than a fighter plane and a trained pilot. Think about it. And it doesn't affect playability AT ALL.

Because in real life, the Mustang rarely carried 1,000lb bombs and HVARs at the same time.  Show me a picture or AAR report of P-51D carrying 2x 1,000lb bombs and 6 HVAR rockets in any combat theater.  P-38 was capable of carrying 3x 1,000lb bombs but the only time it ever carried that ordnance package was when it would do level bombing missions with a P-38 Droop Snoop leading the way.

I do believe that some existing ordnance packages we have in game should be perked to reflect real life usage and in addition, we should also have perked ordnance packages for some of the ordnance not currently in the game but existed in real life, like HVAR rockets or AP rounds for the B-25H.

To reflect historical trends, but also because it'd make bombers more significant.

I agree with this. As for the other part of your quote, we could perk it only if you can have one or the other, and if you want both then you have to spend perks. But we can still carry the 500lb bomb with the rockets.

You wanna perk stuff that we already have??

No.

However, I would like to see the "old" calibration method make a comeback.

I mean, cmon how hard was it really?

You just need to be able to read to understand it.

Put it as an option in the MA. Maybe put it as a selectable item in the hanger. Just like it is to select bomber formations. Then maybe give a perk multiplier if you use manual calibration instead of the one button auto style.
