I16 & Brewster Sounds
« on: September 02, 2009, 03:13:27 PM »
Ok everyone i made some I16 and brewster sounds these are my first sounds so i hope everyone likes them first download them to an extra folder (where you keep your downloads)
2:extract the .zip file to the same folder (your downloads folder)
3:open the unzipped folder, the 2 folders inside the unzipped folder should be named I16 and B239
4:Paste them in your Aces high 2 directory in xp its located at (C:/Program Files/HTC/Aces High 2/Sounds) in vista its (C:/Aces High 2/Sounds), just wherever you have your Aces High 2 contents at.

Your need to convert the sounds to at least 16 bit mono and 22khz.  44khz and in stereo will not work correctly in AH.

I see the brewster eng start is a motorcycle (harley or yamaha).   :devil

AHII sounds should be at PCM 8 or 16-bit mono, 22kHz.  Anything else can easily cause in-game problems such as lock-ups, CTDs, etc.  All of your engine sounds are at 44kHz stereo.  I recommend converting them or you might pass on the issues listed to players and converting them will also bring down the file sizes=less strain on a player's PC.  The weapons, gear & such sounds all look alright, as I believe I've heard them in other packs already.  Your engine sounds will work, they just might cause problems at that current format.
