Housewives of Aces High
« on: September 08, 2009, 03:50:58 PM »
I've had enough of the Drama on the text buffer. I know it can get bad on 200 but on the country text try to keep focused on combat operations. I don't mind joking around and sometimes it's hilarious. Lately it's been stupid squabbles of players that don't like each other. Join opposing sides and fight it out like men. (and women)
Name calling and the spelling police are irritaing while we are trying to play a game and relax.  :furious
There's plenty of space on these forums for verbal abuse.  :x

But an aside:  I do think a show with the HTC staff's spouses spending all thier dough would be hilarious.

I always wanted to fight an impossible battle against incredible odds.

Oh sure, a $1000+ for a monitor, and I'm gonna put sticky crap on the screen, Yeah Right!!!   :huh :rofl

I don't quite understand why some ppl see having this option as a bad thing... If ya want it on, then have it on.. If ya don't, then hide it, or turn it off... Players option, what the prob with that.....?

+1  :aok  :rock  :pray

It would be nice to have the option to turn off the country channel.
Or, to turn off the whole buffer.
Or, to have a permanent squelch list with unlimited slots.

Clearly, the community wants a solution.  We're gaming the game to make one.

HTC, can you do something?

How about using the smallest text size in your buffer?
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:

And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

I'd like to see it the same as the clipboard map.. Bring it up, or hide it.... Pretty simple...
Sometimes I need it for comms, other times don't wanna see it at all... Player option please!!!

I had the fortunate opportunity to spend my hour our two on both rooks and knits, I was amazed at the amount of nonsense on the text buffer.  Not to say that bish does not have their moments, but for the rooks and knits it was more about not only the amount of drivel but what they were driveling about that I found to be funny and disturbing all in one.

Some people take the rivalry's amongst sides waaaayyyy too far, to each his own.  :lol

We simply squelch them or ignore them entirely when someone acts up on the bish side, thank you again HTC for that feature.   :aok
