Range estimates taken from the FE of the guy getting shot are less than worthless.

Try out YAK! It improves your flying skills  : you have to come close to shoot and f-4`s are really easy prey when you just stay out of his cone of fire. Been there done that.

I have noticed same thing with tiffie.
I've shot up tanks alot with Tiffie and not much effect as I do in chog usually.
I flew Chog and got kill from almost 800 yards and few more.. tanks got killed easier as well.

I tried a F4U1-C on H2H yesterday, and killed a guy at 900-800 yards. I was impressed

Shot him with my forward .50 caliber browning turbolaser at 1.6!

My best is nailing a P51 at 1000yds with a 1 second burst from 950yds in my stang.

All these quotes were from the shooter's FE, not the 'shootee'

Guns are hopelessly porked .. simple as that

I was responding to the original post.  I'm sure the guns need some work, but compared to the disaster they call a gunnery model in the last sim I played, they are great here.
