PT Boat Torpedo Issue

Not sure if it was a graphic issue, however I doubt it as all other effects work fine for me. 

I do not see my torpedo's after launch.  I also had the chance to be at a spawn 800 yds from an enemy cv heading towards me w/ about a 4 degree offset......  No explosions.

Is there a known issue with torpedo's with the new patch?

Did you exit and then respawn?  Ordnance now disappears if you exit/die and then respawn again.

Yeah, the known issue is they now prevent one person from launching 100 torps in 30 seconds.   :D

Nope.....  No torp and tipping going on..........  "tipping"  Not as cool sounding as bomb and bailing but almost works.

And I'm pretty sure that only stops bailers.  The dead people still have the ords dropping. 

But I stayed until death yes.

It "looks" like the torps fall overboard and disappear though.

Just to be clear I believe the way it works is ord keeps falling/traveling/walking (troops) after you bail/die/exit as long as you stay in the tower.  As soon as you respawn (in anything) it disappears.

Have had the same issue........launch the Torp'z and have no trail  thought it was just me......but I feel your pain LLogan......oh and have not been killed or ditched.

Could it be map or side or base specific?  I'd think if it was a general problem with the torps, we'd have heard many more complains/observations.  Or perhaps you are forgetting to light the candle that creates the steam to propel those fish.  ;)

I never see the stream from the torps when I drop the on the town from my P-38.

I have so far 4 sorties in a PT and am experiencing the same thing. Torp's disappear after the initial splash, and have either died and waited in Tower for 5 minutes, or drove around waiting to see the wake or explosions, so far nothing.

Tried it last night on the other map..... Same thing. 

Tonight I'm going to go offline and see what happens.  Edit the cv group's guns destroyed and then drive in with the PT to see if we sink a ship.

When you're launching torpedos and can't see their wake, can you see the wake of the ships? Even with everything set on max on my system the ships wakes will sometimes not show up.
