Try avoiding the usual items that are widely known to the public, and maybe get in depth with some original approaches and a decent depth of information. You might start with its development, the cost and degree of technical refinement required for an a/c like that, and then move on to the initial deployment in the CBI, then to the Pacific, the problems with bombing in the Pacific Jet Stream at high alt (which was barely understood at the time), the altering of tactics by Gen. Le May to low alt area night bombing, ect.

This is a bit late but here is some information about "Silverplate" B29's which were 15 or so B29's outfitted for delivering atomic weapons (such as a reduction in armor, armament, different props, etc). Either that or there are a bunch of books available for purchase, just type "Silverplate B29" into google. Cheers.

The B-31 crashed on landing on it's maiden flight...  Bummer... :lol
