Noseart
« on: September 15, 2009, 02:11:47 PM »
I wish that i can upload a noseare that are my own on my plane.
There are noseart on one side of the plane that shows what squad you are in.
What about your own noseart on the other side?
Or on the middle or on the tail?

That'd rock, but remember that could mean hundreds of individual nose art files needing to be loaded.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Not only that, but each plane would need to be modded to put in a spot for the art to go.  Each would have to be done separately... thats a lot of time for HTC just to be able to put extra art on the planes.  Not to mention, each image would have to be approved before it would be added to the mix... cause I am sure there are some out there that would abuse it.

I do too.... If it can be done, they need to approve. It was just a wish :pray :)

The other problem with nose art is that the squad art we have already breaks up or interferes with aircraft skins as it is. Nose art would just compound the problem even further (which personally, I DON'T like as it detracts from the historicity of the skins).

MAYBE if HTC were to include "generic" skins consisting solely of camouflage and national insignia but as it stands now it would just make things more cluttered, especially on the USAAF aircraft, many of which already have extensive artwork.
