According to the book "Bf109F-K" (Radinger-Otto), Schiffer, the Bf109G-1:

"Had a t/o and emergency power of 1,475hp at 1.42 ATA of boost and 2,800rpm. This output was initially banned by VT-Anw.Nr.2206 and was not reinstated until 8 june 1943 when Daimler Benz issued a technical directive."

Original extract: Flight Performance
Time to 6Km: 5'14"
Max true speed at 6Km: 642Kph
Climb rate at 6Km: 15,8 m/sec

"The performance shown are based on battle and climb power, or 2,600rpm, 1,3 ATA of boost. At present the DB605A is not cleared for t/o and emergency power".

A normal loaded Bf109G-1 weighted some 6,600lbs (without GM-1 injection), while a normal loaded G-2 weighted about 6,800lbs.

Hi Gatt, I have the book and I've seen the report you're referring to.  Unfortunately, when looking at various reports and comparing similar plane models, I have to chart a path that does the best at tieing everything together.  

The C.202 as I mentioned before has been problematic for me.  The reason for this is that much of the data I have simply doesn't work out mathematically.  Our planes are no different than real planes, they achieve a certain performance because of their weight, thrust, drag, and lift characteristics.  It's when I can't get the cited performance to fall into those known characteristics that I have a problem.

Hi PYRO,

I am just looking deep into Series 5 performances (Macchi C.205V, Fiat G.55 and Reggiane Re2005). Data may come from a prototype, early variants (sometimes unarmed), or final models. You never know. Its really a mess.

I remember I posted something about MW50 and the Fw190A-8. The flight manual says that starting from june-july 1944 all A-8 mounted the MW50. Well, two other very good books say that the MW50 was mounted only on a limited quantity of BMW801D's and only from the end of 1944. Wheres the truth?

A lot of times performance tests were done only during pre-production, with special types that is.

As far as the C.202 is concerned, (climb and speed) performances are almost always the same you find in the "Ali d'Italia" Series book you already own.
But from your words I understand they dont match with you FM parameters. Let me know if we can help you.
