Beat me to it.  I always considered myself more vampire plans.

Anyway, I was just talking to my colleagues about this the other day.  We work for USAID in a pretty typical office, which makes most of them believe I am off the rocker.  Anyway, the first thing I do when I move into a new place for more than just a couple days is think about the best zombie defense method for the given location.  In my old apartment I had a roof only accessible by a single ladder, which I could easily take out once I was up there.  Even with no guns in DC, I could have easily waited up there laughing at the zombie horde below.  My new apartment is much less defensible, and I would most certainly be eating brains in no time. 

Also, Fallout 3 is WAY more fun if you currently/have lived in DC

I like my crowbar, Besides we can't have civillian firearms in Australia. But as an Airforce cadet I can operate and maintain them. Not to mention the fact as a zombie will move to a place which it spent most of its previous existance like the Mall or movies for teenage girls and Homes for middle aged plus public plazas and cities in general.

And of course if the horde does get me, Im going to hunt you down Xasthur and recruit you to the horde

In the town of less than 2000 people where i live the are probably 5-10 firearms (on average) per person.  Just imagine all these crazy rednecks on their roofs with hi powered rifles splattering zombies all over the streets

I'm staying on base where there is plenty of guns, ammo, and a grocery store. If needed, drive the crash truck with the huge wheels to wally world and raid them. Oh yea, the place is fenced in too, good luck to the zombies on getting in............now, where's my sniper rifle so I can head to the control tower.
