Still getting "crash" instead of "ditch"

Even after the patch, I still get a "crashed" instead of "ditched" in GV's when ending the sortie while on a friendly base and being not on pavement, as long as any enemies are around.
Happened several times on different bases in different GV's
One example:

If that's a deliberate change of game mechanics I missed any notice about it in the release notes

Yup. Got the same in a pt after cv went down. no cons around and I got a crash instead of landed or ditch.

They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

A new host was installed today that should fix this issue.
