Lived in Tampa back then, they were a local band, saw em a few times---the original 'guitar army'

me too.  indeed they were.

saw the together with marshall tucker several times. skippers smokehouse was the venue.

one band that I STILL love to this day....who also focussed on double harmonic leads..... was Thin Lizzy.

that said......THE TIGHTEST guitar band I've ever seen..... Pat Travers...hands down.

   I like green grass/high tides but it gets way to long winded with the lead. Alot of those type bands were like that.
