I figured there HAS to be a bunch of folks here that use FSX and I have a few questions for those folks.
OK I recently broke down a got a copy of FSX, it was on sale at the exchange. Anyway, I've used FS Navigator for years with FS98 through FS2004 and have really enjoyed the interface it has with the older versions of FS in regards to flight planning, autopilot, and most importantly airport information with tower freqs, ILS freqs, glideslope, and range markers.
Much to my dismay after getting FSX, FS Navigator is no longer being updated and their last version will not work with FSX. OK not that big a deal but while messing around in FSX I'm not able to find that relevant information while flying. Kinda sucks when trying to do an ILS approach and I can't find the ILS freq for the airport I'm flying into.
So am I completely missing something obvious or is there a trick to finding that information while in flight? Also are there any programs for FSX that have the same features FS Navigator had? I've searched through FlightSim.com, AVSIM.com, and Simviation.com and haven't found anything even close.
