1v1 Help / Training
« on: September 29, 2009, 09:38:45 AM »
Would any of the trainers or experienced players be willing to offer training and help for 1v1?  If possible, I would like to do it before next week.  Would somewhere between 8:15 PM and 11:00 PM central US time work for anyone?  Thanks.

hey Fox, I'm not a trainer but i have some experience. I sometimes get on around your time and i often hang out int he DA/TA. If you see me online give me a shout. You can find me from any arena or the log-in lobby using the dot command  '.f batfinkv'
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

4Fox has some good skills in dueling, we had some great fights the other day. If you dueling guys see him on ask him for a duel, should be good.

Want to give a big thanks to Batfink for the fights the other night.  Was great fun and learned alot.

Currently seems like I am mostly flying spits but I have flown other american and british planes in the past.

Hey 4fox thought that was you. We actually fought a few time in the da awhile back, and the Ma once or twice.

I would recommend flying some of the mid early war planes like the p40. One reason is they are harder to fly against late war birds and much more attention has to be paid to E states and acm's. Once you learn some Acm's in those the spits will be easy street.
A couple of reasons not to fly the hurri spits and zero early on is, they will handicap you from learned better acm and fine tuning your observations skills. The zero for example turns so well most never have to learn the barrel roll with it, or how to displace your vector to the 90 degrees. Ya just flat turn everything.

Anyway thats my take on it.   :salute

great fights 4fox :salute

Somehow I feel i let you down i reviewed the films of our fights. I made a few simple mistakes and you took advantage of them. Great flying. Maybe next time I can fly a little better.

4fox pulled Sonicblu's undies over his head.  :D
