Why not just use the tuneable channel we have now and tune it to your wingman?  Just type his callsign in the field.

While were at it, can we have it so that whatever channel you swiched to previsouly, is what the radio stays at untill you change it? Its really annoying to have to click the squad channel (radio 2 on mine) button during combat. I wish you could just set to channel 2, and have it stay there. But you can hear (see) all channels you have a radio tuned to with the exception of mission channel, and number channels (i.e. channel 136, or 200, etc.).

I agree, maybe just have what your wet wingman says be first to hear out of range/vox chatter.

What about making range voice tunable like range text?

.wingman gameid should not only highlight your selected wingman, it should setup as asked for, a third vox channel.

It was asked for a long long time ago, and keeps popping up.

As to why, well I don't know about you, but when I'm flying an FSO frame, and I've got 1 channel set to squad, range is full of chatter from other squads, having that third wingman channel can make the difference between living and dieing.

Or you can run Ventrillo or teamspeak, but personally I'd rather have it in game, so I can look at my monitor if I'm in doubt as to who's speaking.

I imagine it would also be useful for training to have a third vox.

I would like range to be tunable regardless of 2 or 3 vox channels because sometimes the social chatter steps all over the tactical comms.
