Can anyone decode these hand signals that the pirates gave to the French sailors as they approached them??

Remember what the french did to Polynesia.

Pirates : Look a cargo freighter, we go on board and hold them up with our 38 year old ex Soviet poorly maintained AK47's and rusty machetes. Hey look a search light............ohhhhhhh craaaaaaaaaap

Enough to turn that boat into toothpicks tho....

I wonder how many rounds one would need from a .50 caliber Browning M2 to neutralize one of those boats??

I'm not sure how many it would take for the boat but if the pirates were lined up right, just one would do the job.

the article I read stated the pirates opened fire with AK-47's .. in the dark .. obviously thinking the French Flagship was a merchant ship.

OOPS.

Now .. if I were French ..I would say that was a declaration of war and respond as such.
'Bring all guns to bear'
'Open Fire when ready'
'Cease Fire' (when boats are destroyed)
(zerr weel bee nonn of ziss 'chassing' and running about een ze dark, no?)
'Bring me a Croissant'
