The Sea Fury was a variation on the Tempest II: It was basically a lightened example of the same aircraft. The close cowled radial engine design was strongly influenced by captured and downed examples of the F190, especailly the oil cooling system. I believe the raised cockpit position was introduced after the first carrier landing trials.
The armament was the same as the RAF Tempests: 4 Hispano Mk. Vs
