I'd tell them to go take a hike up their alimentary canal where their head is. As long as there is no specific prohibition regarding it in the lease they cannot enforce potential offense situations that do not violate the law. If they did push for the eviction I'd make sure to hold on until the Sheriff arrived (months down the road) to enforce the eviction notice and have as many members of the press there to film it. That way they cannot continue to hold me to paying the lease or require that I pay early lease cancellation fees.

Failure to pay HOA fees is a violation of the CCR's. I seriously doubt that which way the vehicle faces in the drive way is a violation and would demand a quote including the page and paragraph in the CCR's that specifically does cover it. I did that when I got a nasty gram regarding oil drops (6 of them far less than an inch in diameter each) on my driveway. They backed off.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

#S# to your grandfather and all the rest who have served/are serving/those that will serve.

I fly two American flags at my house.  Unlike some of the others around here I have enough respect to take them both down before dark since I have no lights for them.

P.S. - Nice yard btw...what type of grass is that?
very good you do this, i think there is only 4 places where the government has actually put in writing where the flag will be flown 24-7 , that is FSK memorial, Fort McHenry, WW2 memorial, and the Capital :salute

We have a 20ft flag pole we put up last year. We live on a big hill and you can see it clearly at the bottom, nearly a 1/2 a mile away...sad we can't fly our own country's flag in our own country anymore...anyone who takes offense to it should not live here.

Its easier to understand if you'll disassociate the emotional side of the issue from the legal one.

I take mine down too, but lights are in the works.

Old grass.  :lol  I don't know, my grandfather has been living here since 1947.  I did use Scott's turf builder this spring.

You are allowed to fly the flag 24/7 if you do a couple of things.  It must have proper lighting and it is an all weather flag.

There's one other thing. Don't be a member of an HOA that restricts such things.

Which is the exact reason why I took it down before dark  :aok

No one should be denied flying the flag.  I am confident our free market of ideas experiment in our western culture will endure despite this apartment management.  :lol

Unfortunately this kind of thing is happening more and more around the country it seems.  I have to refrain on mentioning some other incidents that I have heard about other flags being flown higher than the US flag for fear of getting PNG'd.

I will live in a cardboard box before I live in a community with a HOA.

I work at a window & door company right outside of Philly.  You would not believe the whines I hear about HOA rules when customers call to talk about the type of windows & doors they can have.

I guess they should have read the HOA rules BEFORE purchasing the condo..............  If it's in the rule book, you are bound to abide by it.
