109G2 bug and maybe other 109 models?

got a wing shot off in a 109G2 and i noticed as i bailed the landing gear was still there but the wing was gone I've flown some of the other 109 models and this sometimes happens could it possibly be fixed?  :headscratch:

The landing gear on the Bf-109 was attached to the fusilage.  Same system on the Spitfire.  This allowed the wings to be removed while the aircraft was sitting on its gear, and was the reason the gear retracted outboard instead of inboard.
