UDT and SEAL Museum
« on: October 18, 2009, 10:31:52 AM »
If any of you are ever in the Vero Beach area, check out the UDT and Navy SEAL Museum.  It is a small place but has some really cool stuff.  Walking around the WWII area, I was surprised that they have the samurai sword given to the Americans at the surrender of the Japanese in the Phillipines.  They also have the lifeboat from the Maersk Alabama hostage situatuion several months ago.  Great place to visit.

Been by it several times when visiting family but never stopped in there; I have heard it is a pretty neat little museum to visit.
