We decided to go back to look for some cons and saw 2 or 3.  We engaged them, fought them lower and then the skies turned red!  Well, we found the cons!!  Obliteration followed :cry

A10, A11 and A12 were not part of the airfields to defend for us Allied pilots.
Check with your sides' objectives and CiC orders for any possible error.
Time's fun when you're having flies.

A19   288 pts   19200 lbs – Small Airbase
A8   572 pts   38100 lbs – Large Airbase
A23   288 pts   19200 lbs – Small Airbase
A4   288 pts   19200 lbs – Small Airbase
A25   288 pts   19200 lbs – Small Airbase

Unlike most previous FSOs, I did NOT receive any of the normal "Frame Objectives" email traffic prior to receiving the frame 3 orders...which themselves didn't arrive in my email inbox until rather late (15:14 EDT 15 Oct 09).

With not much time to critically examine them, and nothing to compare them with, all we had to go on were the orders as published...

I know, don't read more into what I posted than what I wrote.

The squads that attacked A10, A11, and A12 followed their orders and are not at fault. I have received the Axis CiC orders now from multiple people and indeed fields A10, A11, and A12 were tasked. However, they were not valid targets. So I will be following up with him on why he tasked an attack force to this these fields when no points were being awarded for them.

We were defending A20.  Caught some Ju87's and were actually on the way to your location then 68hawk kicked the plug here at the con and about a dozen of us were disconnected.  :cry All the 68th were rearming and many of them were disconnected also, well those at the con.

Ghostdancer is looking into it.

Somewhat slow night for the Bucs, too. A26 was hit relatively late (VERY close to T+60) by eight formations of Ju-88s without escorts coming in from the West. With only six of us there wasn't much we could do with our peashooters, which is a REAL shame, too. We were in a GREAT position and were in their formation before they started shooting back so may have caught them either in their bomb sights or otherwise completely got the drop on them. Would have LOVED two have a couple banks of Deuces just then....

Was a real quick action, and we didn't see another enemy plane the whole rest of the night.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I read that 3 times before my auto filter actually recognized 68Hawk.  The brain just automatically put Skuzzy in that story for some reason   :D

lol Ya picture about six Mongrels and eight 68th guys sitting in the same row at the con, all in FSO when he did this. Caused quite a stir.  :huh :(  :bolt:

I think 68Falcon is calling him "sparky" now. :)

I bet it did lol.  Did you let him reset the bones or just let them knit back together at odd angles as a reminder to watch where he's walking  :lol
