I remember, I think it was skuzzy saying some time back that they won't do this, because it encourages the... I forget the word they used, rivalries between the countries.
The words were like this:
It was decided to drop the country specific stats. It does nothing more than enforce the country-centric thinking we would like to see go away.
Just for the record, I don't agree with that. Most of those extreme "We play honorable, THEY do not and gang all the time on us" players didn't look at the stats at all. I have actually never seen country kill numbers seriously been used in any "debate" on such a topic. I don't think any player ever chose his team by looking at those stats (In that case, Bishland would have gotten empty quite soon
)
As with all stats, I just found them to be interesting, as I did the sorties per plane stats... the 2 days they were up
