Even as a child I remember his shows, Still funny after all these years.

You will be missed Soupy.   :aok

DETROIT —  Soupy Sales, the rubber-faced comedian whose anything-for-a-chuckle career was built on 20,000 pies to the face and 5,000 live TV appearances across a half-century of laughs, has died. He was 83.

By the time I became aware of Soupy, he was on the game show circuit. However, he will always live in my mind as a legend mainly because of his on-screen hustling of the kids - telling 'em to fish a $20 out of Mom's purse and send it in.

That's fabulous, and certainly wasn't illegal at the time. I think that happened in the course of his kid's show - the one with White Fang and Black Tooth.
Some say revenge is a dish best served cold. I say it's usually best served hot, chunky, and foaming. Eventually, you will all die in my vengeance vomit firestorm.
