Take away the unrealistic bomber speeds, the turrets that almost never get knocked out, the 10-guns-on-one-plane slaved to one gunsight, the 3 planes with 10 guns each all slaved to one gunsight, the ability to jump from plane to plane, turret to turret, with no penalties, limitations, or drawbacks....
THEN maybe you might have a claim to request bomber gunners' names in lights.
As-is they're already coddled enough. And yes, I say this as a bomber pilot that's been shot down many times, as well.
EDIT: I remember I got my start in lancaster bombing missions way back. Before formations were ever an option. Today? Well, today folks would cry bloody murder if they didn't have 2 extra drones plus the extra guns and bombs to go with them.
