I know what you mean about the puffy gavagai, It seems to be everywhere, I don't think I've been above 3k in there all week...lol.

I had time for 1 more flight on Monday and lifted against the 2A guys, they were attacking a Vbase from their CV. Me and TheMaj fought 2.3.4 at a time and it was a blast. They were respectful and weren't picking or zooming to the heavens, everything was basically on the deck. No BS on 200/all channels just fun fights. They did look for the HO shot alot, but it was not a big deal.

I ended up having to leave after that flight...but I'll be back for more!

<S> 2A's

Well said.

<S> Gentlemen!

For the first time in months, I found someone in AvA at my login hours. Tuesday and Wednesday. Changed to Axis - yes, I did - and had excellent fights with 2nd Ammendment defending fields under attack and then a2a when they chose to go for it! Congrats, you're very welcome!

A big <S> to those that fought on my side, excellent winging and cameraderie. An excellent way to return to AvA.

Keep up the good work chaps, AvA is coming back to his feet again.

Cheers,

Query: Why should the fights be kept below 3K in an arena that is is supposed to be more historically accurate?
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

His one sentence? He finds the fight being kept below 3,000 feet a positive good. I have several times heard it alluded to that "everything should be kept below 5/8/10K etc. I do not understand why this is a positive good/goal of a historically based arena, seeing as how a 3K alt cap is low, even by Eastern front standards, certainly by the standards of the West, and distorts relative plane performance from what it actually was at typical altitudes in many cases. (109G vs. P-47D for example.)

Just because he disagrees with your point of view doesn't mean he doesn't understand it.

Its not about agreeing or disagreeing about anything. Its about him reading jaegers post then trying to spin it to troll.

last time I was in the AvA arena all they did was pull 3 CV groups up near the base stayed in the ack to collect proxie kills on the 4 guys trying to defend it from the 10 attackers plus the three CV groups. I can't wait till WW1 arena gets here. No more AvA for me.

It's a shame you let it get to you that much. AvA is seeing the most #s it has had in months. Great time to be in there.
