CH setup tip

Was reading a bit in the CH hanger and found this tip. When calibrating the throttle in windows do not slide it to the full amount, Instead take it to about 95%. This allows it to "fit" in the game. Seems to work too.

When calibrating your throttle, when you're instructed to move the throttle to the 'open' position (full foward) move it until you hit the stops and then move the slider slightly down so it's about "90%" open and then press a button on the stick to set the calibration. 

With today's sticks, it's really not needed as much but since CH still uses potentiometers, it's a good tip to avoid any possible spiking (which was common in the legacy days with analog gameports with slow speeds) when the throttle is at the full position.  The same tip can also be used when calibrating the 'closed' position.

I think Ack-Ack answered your question pretty well. I guess the idea is that you want to make sure the game sees the full limits of your throttle. I know in the past it felt like I wasn't getting full throttle. Since doing this I feel I have a faster plane. Wish I could find the article. It's really long though.
