Ostwing Gun Sound And Gunsights

I noticed that the gun sound seems to be slower than the actual rate of fire. I checked the length of the .wav and it was 0.40 seconds, but the rate of fire (I measured it with a stopwatch) is 250 rounds per minute, which means the .wav should be 0.24 seconds long.
