OK lets see, PS3 = free internet, better graphics, better quality, more memory, ok im sorry no halo (which i think is a horrible game btw)oh and it has blue ray, which they will be making all DVDs with soon, so while you go spend 200 bucks on a blue ray DVD player, i have one

Even my old computer outclasses the PS3's graphics, and 360's. Most people don't believe me till I put my monitor and PC side by side with their XBAWK.

Actually, the Xbox 360 version of MW2 is graphically better than the PS3 version and the PC version is the best of the three.  Just go to one of the gaming sites and look at the comparison screenshots.  You'll see the clear difference in shadow quality and bloom effect between the PS3 and 360 version.

PS3 is more expensive overall. 1 year of gold membership to Xbox live is about 30 pounds sterling. PS3 costs alot more than 30 pounds over an Xbox elite. Added to that, the PS3 network is flawed in some ways that often makes online gaming less attractive. The Xbox network is, by and large, a better connection and smoother graphics on HD monitor.

Xbox also has Forza Motorsport 3: best driving game ever made. If you doubt that then you clearly have not played it   :D

There are no hacking allowed on MW2
No dedicated servers + VAC = unquestionable idiot proof equal FPS goodness with no cheating

Any other opinion is the rants of modders, & cheating PC fanbois who cannot stomach glorious MW2 equality

COD multiplayer: worst excuse for a war game ever produced.

If you want my advice Warspawn, get yourself a copy of ArmA2 for PC. Less hacking and much, much more tactical reward. Even an old copy of Operation Flashpoint Resistance is a far more enjoyable experience than COD multiplayer. Biggest waste of time and over-hyped product since online gaming was created, imo.

ArmA and ArmA2 are by far the best FPS games that offer a tactical gameplay.  Most of the time you're working with other people against AI units, but they are just as good if not better than any person you face.  ArmA also has a whole list of aircraft and vehicles you can hop into and use as well, even laser guided bombs than can be targeted by friendlies with designators on the ground

I find FPS games too stressful and the kiddies are too fast and cheat too much. Used to play them abit before but no more. Ill get the 360 when and if a new 360 version of splinter cell is released.

I never understood the mentality of those that resort to using aimbots or other hacks in game.  The funny thing about it is that they think they're some uber experten player that's the best there ever was.  Take away their aimbot and other hacks and they're very sub par players.

Amazing how few people pick up on sarcasm even when it's explained later in the post. :p

You're joking right? MoHAA got the ball rolling, and multiplayer is what made the WWII genre of FPS games so popular over the past 9 years...CoD has kept it going.

No online multiplayer PC based retail game is safe from the hacks. Almost every game published has cheats coded in...commands you can type in on the console for different things. And the more moddable the game is, the easier it is for hacks to be created. For first person shooters using any version of the Unreal or Quake engines, opengl hacks are the most popular and the most difficult to stop since the games are highly moddable.

Yes, the script kiddies and their cheats are bad...have been for nearly every FPS ever created...and some publishers have made attempts to stop them...most don't. The good news is those hackers get bored...the youngest ones only stick with a game until the next "popular" game comes out then they move on...the die hards keep playing until they get busted and banned and then they grab a keygen app and try again until they get bored and move on to the next game. They're all easy to spot once you develop a knack for it...takes time and diving into the sewer with the little punks makes it easier. I can tell you from personal experience, most are kids (high school age)...the worst are the "wannabe tough guys" living in their parents basement or some trailer park...and some "adults" with children who actually tell their kids it's ok to use a hack on someone's server (then they get pissed when you do a scan of their system and report some things to their local authorities  :t).

I stopped playing WWII first person shooters online just because it took way too much effort to keep my servers clean of the cheaters and unsupervised teenage turds...for every pseron we got perma banned or got into trouble with their ISP and the authorities, 10 more popped up...and because of the cheats this new thing IWN has done with Modern Warfare won't last long...the game is too easily hacked and without active 24hr moderation, the legitimate players will stop playing...all that will be left will be the script kiddies and they don't like paying to play online.
