Naming the best movie of all time is pretty tough to do without being a little biased to an actor, director, genre etc.  I have a hard time pin pointing my favorite as it can change over time as I may rediscover a movie.

As for Lord of the Rings, for me, in the top 50.  The book among books, for me, would rank higher than the movie among movies ranking.

Tron or the Princess Bride. The new Star Trek is still in the top 50, but not all the way there. The Blob (old one) is probably fifth.

I refuse to pick just one. Unlike a really good album any good movie no matter how good can only be seen a few times and thats it.

One of the best based on how many times ive been able to see it without falling asleep : Star Wars

One of the worst based on the fact that ill NEVER see it again: Top Gun
