I seem to recall waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the ages of AH antiquity that once upon a time Pyro or someone over at HTC was asking for photo's or other information on the Pe-2.  It may have even found it's way into one of the editors (or at least appeared in the menu).  So assuming I'm remembering correctly and that senility or dementia isn't setting in at an unusually young age,  then we would have to assume that either they couldn't get the info they needed or something else came up to put the project on hiatus.

I'm thinking of something even older than that, I thought it was a Pe-2, but it may have been another VVS attack aircraft/bomber. I'm also not willing to rule out that idea that I may just be out of my tiny little mind.

ding ding.

No more USAF or RAF aircraft until the major holes get filled.  There are LOTS of gaps that could be/should be filled, imo.
