Could be a couple of things, most all of them have been mentioned here:
Learn to manual trim a bit in the game if you haven't already.

I agree with those who say it probably trim. To the above point, Is there a commands manual for this game anywhere? Hurried discussions on the squalk box seemed to be how things are 'learned' in this game, and of course the boards, but the process could be spead up dramatically if a complete manual were published. Does one exist? any plan to publish one?

Thanks,

Vinkman

If you went through and printed out all the pages from that site, you would have as complete as a manual as anyone else would ever publish.

Did you look at the "One Page Quick Reference" in the Downloads section?  Down near the bottom of the page?

oops, overlooked this post, the Trainers website recently had to be re posted due to server problem, which is fixed now....

Hammer, our beloved Trainer & Web Master, had each and every page available in either PDF, Word Doc, or both...so others could print any/every page they wanted out and put them in a binder....... if the pages are not all set back up like that now, I am sure they will be at Hammer's convenience

still though, if you find that something may be missing, or you do not find what you are looking for, please let us know......

you can email any / all of the trainers our email address is listed on the roster section of the Trainers site, will not post it here do to bots/spammers

hope this helps

The tail wheel on the f4u's is far forward, and pretty close to the main gear, and the airplane as a whole has a VERY hi center of gravity when sitting on its wheels, this results in alot of ground loops, even if the plane isnt that far off center the planes landing gear seems exacerbate any error.
The fix is to get the tail down as soon as possible, then hold the stick in the aft position which locks the tail wheel, even under idle the plane produces torque, and it will affect the plane. :aok
