New AH commercial?

Me too, but they said they remember seeing the old shot up logo. Unless they are bringing it back for temporary use.

I remember one from like 2002/2003 and it had like a desert map with a huge ground war going on and this P40E flying around and dropped a 500 pound bomb on a tiger. That commercial got me started and this is when it was AH1.

i just started the two week trial a few years ago and didn't even subscribe until early this year. so i actually don't remember why i got into this game on either instances.

Saw the old one (the one that spikes posted) today during WWII in HD on the History Channel.  I was glad to see it, but would have liked them to at least redo that commercial.  It just looks to old, and I know they can make it look better for a commercial.

Have you seen what WWII air combat footage looks like? It looks old like the commercial does. Very appropriate IMO.

He means it's using an old version of the game. Looks like 2006 or 7, two terrain updates ago. They should do a new one showcasing the new animated water and shadowing system.

The comerical that youre talking about made me download aces high in early 2008 when I was watching modern marvels.

I downloaded it and happened to have a Microsoft Sidewinder laying around from when I used to play Top Gun.

I did 1 sortie as a 2 weeker and got hoed by a KI-84. I was in a c205 with 7.7mm loadout.

I preceeded to play offline mode and quit playing the game altogether when GTA IV came out.

About a year later I got into the game again and thought about the online game and the KI.

I flew for 3 weeks untill I found some poor KI floating afk. I opened up with my c205 and rammed him. Still got the kill and got hooked to the game...

Oh right, the comerical! It made me play AH.

Yep saw this too. I found out about Aces High from a commercial back in 2002 I think, back when it was AH 1.

New commercial or just new media buy, it seems to be working.  Lot of new players on today.

I think I was watching Dogfights on History and saw commercial for History.com. Their dogfights game sucked pretty bad so I Googled online air combat games and AHII was one of the sites to look at. That was 2-1/2 yrs or so ago and I've been hooked ever since.
