Saying thanks to the Troops overseas
« on: November 25, 2009, 09:58:37 AM »
Dunno if this was posted before. If it was I apologise for the duplication. This seems to be legit I checked with Snopes and they agree it's true. It's all free.

This should be helpful to them especially during the holiday season.

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com   you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq.

You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!

It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?

Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.

This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you.

Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do.

We can never say enough thank you's.

Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Thank God the XEROX company, especially as it is FREE, and the people of the XEROX company have all really good heart, with NO INTENT WHATSOEVER to promote their business.

And that's how it SHOULD be! Companies shouldn't offer ways of support and comfort for our troops if they are going to use it to make money and promote their products/services, that's just wrong. By doing that it's almost like saying they care no more about the troops than Pelosi or Clinton  :devil .

Who said nothing good came from Rochester.   :aok  Little company called Kodak did as well, but I don't remember them doing anything like this.  It's a great idea, and I'll definitely send it around.

Nice gesture or great marketing plan by XEROX?  ;)

Maybe both.

See they got a bunch of us to talk about how great they are ;)

So many places of business stick the little card or sticker saying "We Support Our Troops!" in their window.  Few of those places of business take action in support of the troops.  Thumbs up to this company, who allows others to express thanks and appreciation to the most special people in the world. :)

And if it generates some business for them, that's A-OK.  In return for their action rather than words in support of the Troops, they deserve it.  :aok
