As someone who uses custom/non-default skins built into my terrains for offline missions & such, could I ask you skinners to please upload a few of your works from the past few years to the site?  It would be hugely appreciated & full credit will always be given.  It's hard to make historic missions when offline mission always use the default skin, hence why I always make custom terrains for them with new skins.  I'm fully willing to make a trade & build anyone who asks custom missions and when we get private servers again, custom terrains.  Big thank you for anyone willing to take the time helping me/the community out by using the AH skins site again.  I'm planning on uploading the ones I've made & hope others will contribute and breathe new life into this great resource site.

I got fed up with people taking my skins from that site, altering a few details like squadron codes and noseart and then posting them as new skins. However if you need any of my skins for a terrain USRanger, drop me a line and I'll send you the bmp.

That particular website is pretty much off-line last I recall. No support, no updates.

I used to post some skins to it, but it's really not the best place for hosting skins. HTC's webpage keeps them up to date, at least. The only side effect is you can't re-edit them, as Greebo mentioned.

They come as a .res though off this site instead of the .bmp.  You can't drop them into a custom terrain for missions.  I wish the terrains would accept the skin .res's also so already in-game skins could be used.

Greebo, that sucks to hear of that happening.  Never thought of that.  I'm sure I'll be in touch.  Fencer & Motherland are also lending me a hand atm.
