It would surely depend which plane was chosen as the streak plane - personally, I like the sound of that. There is no chance I'll ever be anywhere near the top of any streak (I've not learned to disengage when things are against me yet lol.....), but it sounds like fun.

Each tour we designate one plane for the streak plane.

We then keep track of who has the longest kill streak in that plane. I.E. once you die flying the "Streak Plane" your streak is finished, and you do not get to try again that tour.

And I am thinking a ditch (not capture) is not a death. A disco will also count as a death.

would this include all modes:  Fighter, Attack, Bomber?   or would it be for specific modes? determined at the start of each month.....

That would promote even more running and timid flying in my opinion.

I do not see how it would promote these. Players would have to actually go for kills, if they were going for the top spot, which would require them to fight.

If HTC decides to do this, I would like to see them host it in a way like they did in the Top Fighters of the month, several years back......maybe even offer some sort of prize: Hat, Shirt, etc..... each month.........

This "streak" idea has some real merit - it would enhance the use of less active air frames when they were designated as the "streak plane".
At the same time it would certainly promote more historical play style - "always bring your bird back to the crew chief who loaned it to you".

Would the winner receive anything??

- a "free" month??
- 2-3 free 262's the next tour??
- double perks for the next tour??
- maybe just when ever they flew "their" plane icon would be "gold" for the next tour??  <---- make em a target 

On "ditches" would they still get credit for kills or only when they are "landed"??

I'll never be in the run for it but sounds like fun!!

Sounds good, I like the idea of you only having one shot at it.  Most people suck and will be shot down early on, preventing them from being timid the rest of the month.

Make them 40 ENY planes and i would be all for it. It would be fun to see who can get the most kills in a Hurri 1 or a Spit 1.
