Find specs of that aircraft and look at max AoA....most likely he was max-performing and therefor maneuvering near stall.
I'm wondering if those dudes wear G-suits...
Pretty sure they don't wear G-suits, don't think those planes have the necessary plumbing for them, and it they did they would just tear it out to save weight, those guys go to extreme measures just to get a few 10ths of a sec.
I know the Blue Angels don't.
I read somewhere when asked why, they explained that since it is a pre-arranged routine, they know when the Gs are coming and can physically prepare for it. Where as in a combat situation you may be pulling extreme Gs without any forewarning, with out time to flex the right muscles properly, there the G suit steps in to save you.
