Alot of game stopping

Since I have instlled the new patch and the new high res pack I have been having issues.
1.main screen pic of the planes are real fuzzy.
2.game stops working and a message appears aces high has stop working windows looking foe a sollution.
3.FPM dropped from solid 75 to a 50.
I have a high end game card had no issue till the new patch and high res,I have deleted and reinstalled twice any other ideas?

Twice i had the same message about the game not working.  Never had this done in the 5 years of playing.  Last one happen during FSO.
