Getting pushed back to Desktop
« on: December 08, 2009, 08:32:51 AM »
I know I am not the only one that had this problem in the past week or so .
Last night was the worst I have seen it however.
I was kicked out and Aces Exe took a dump
I tried to debug it through Dr Watson and the amount of errors where not consistant

When i logged back on It had tio be either Server wide or Network Wide
Half the board was empty and considerable amount of people where gone .

I was thinking perhaps the Special event wanted more porcessing power for the arena so why not kicked everybody off and reset things

Would that happen ,, NAAAAA not in this game RIGHT?

The board and the game servers are physically separated by about 35 miles.

The game servers and its network looked quite normal throughout the night.  The SEA is on its own server.  Many folks bailed from the MA arenas to join the SEA event last night.

Did you try running a Ping Plot to see if there could be something else going on?  We are at the mercy of the Internet just like anyone.

A crash like you are describing is normally not a network related problem.

Yes Exactly Skuzzy
I ran the Traceroute, ping plotter and even used Finger on my Unix WS. Network seemed fine
Game started right back up after that .
I can tell you that it happened to about 4 of my Squad mates and others that joined in on our little mission last night
they all at one point in time got kicked back to the desktop.

Nothing big jumped at me in Dr-Watson Debug . That was why I was wondering if the servers just got over taxed...

Were you filming at the time of the occurence?  Could be a bug in the mission stuff.

When you first log in, everything is empty.  It can take up to a minute to get everything populated (possibly longer).  It depends on the Internet connection.

Any of the others filming at the time?

I will find out from my squad mates.
Is that an issue?
