Group) is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary.
Ten years ago, this squadron was formed as a direct result of a CO (our previous squad) dictating how we should have fun. On December 9th, 1999.....17 pilots from the Skylords held a meeting on ICQ chat, and it was decided that in the best interest of fun gaming, and our determination not to let a controlling CO tell us 'how' to have that fun.......we made the decision to resign from the Skylords and form a new squadron.........a squadron where no one person is more important than the next. A squadron where the positions (Officer) are ones of responsibility, not authority.
The new squadron would be called .....
The 99th Aggressor Squadron (Tactical Air Group) motto:
Promptus ad Vindictam - "swift to avenge"It has been an honor to be part of this Squadron, both as a member and filling the role of Commanding Officer. It is not everyday, one can celebrate 10 years with a group of friends....... but I must say that it sure feels good to see a fine group like this stick together so long.
