fats, on low speed I have same problem.
109 always tends to roll left when using
autotrim.

Does the 109 not have as much down elev. as up. There was a manouever that Hartmann used where the down elevator plus upper left or right with stick & the same side rudder. I read somewhere that the 109 was about the only plane of the period that had as much down as up. The one on AH can't seem to do outside loops. Maybe it's just me.

Yes, Kraut, exactly what I find strange about 109. Even when trimmed nose heavy, plane still does negative Gs quite mushy.

P51 does both positive and negative Gs far more readily than 109 in AH.

I haven't tried 0.36 yet, but I hope they have worked on it.

I think the reason might be to detract from being able to fly inverted.  Although the 109 should pitch down easily, it will not fly inverted well at all (if even...), so maybe the only way they could model that was to reduce the down elevator?

Thanks for the input. I guess it's not me. That Hartmann thing, plus the abrupt down elevator, sure got me out of a lot of scrapes with Hurries & early model Spits. In fact, with most Allied Iron.
